Infinite Sound Studio is the work of Lance Zechinato — a senior software engineer by trade, and an audio practitioner since before the programming career. The LLC was formed in Maryland in 2017. The logo has been a registered trademark since 2020. The work — mixing, mastering, session guitar, soundtracks, and consulting — has been ongoing in one form or another for years before either of those milestones.
Thirty-five years of engineering instills a particular discipline: read the spec carefully, do the work methodically, and don't ship something you wouldn't stand behind. That same disposition carries into the studio. Every project gets a conversation before it gets any work, so that the output actually serves the project rather than just meeting a generic definition of "done."
The honest version of the current situation: Infinite Sound Studio is not yet full-time. Engagements are taken by appointment and managed around a demanding day job. Response time is measured in days, not hours. That changes as the business grows and the transition to full-time studio work happens — that is the plan, and it is in motion. In the meantime, you get the same ears and the same standard of work, on a schedule that is managed rather than overextended.
